Sunday, 5th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS LESSON? ” I’m going through some trials right now. Of course, I can’t see the why or what, but on down the line I’ll find how God did this for His glory. All things work for the Lord’s best. I think He is moving me onto a new course in my life. I’ll take that big step and I’ll see how God orchestrates all of this. I enjoy the lessons and have learned a lot. Joy and peace are found in the Lord. Thank you, Anita B…” Praise God – “Not only that, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance;” (Romans 5:3)! Pray Anita keeps studying & finding her daily peace & joy in the Lord.
Monday, 6th: “I’m writing this letter to say thank you for everything. It is truly a blessing doing these studies. I enjoy it greatly. God bless you! Jimmie S…” (He’s an inmate who just completed Bible study booklet #1.) Praise God – “For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will delight your soul.” (Proverbs 2:10)! Pray Jimmie keeps studying, shares God’s word with inmates and encourages those interested to study also.
Tuesday, 7th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On April 27, at 1:06 PM, new student hopeful Yvonne H… emailed: “I hope to be a better Christian and be closer to Jesus.” (First studies were mailed to her and her friend Candace C… on 5-1-24.) Praise God – “The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call out to Him in truth.” (Psalm 145:18)! Pray Yvonne & Candace study their booklet, talk and pray about God’s word together, and trust and obey God.
Wednesday, 8th: “4-28-2024 I have recently discovered God after practicing Buddhism for 25+ years. I just started reading my Bible and I’m trying to learn as much as I can. I love Jesus and want to please God. Therefore, I would like to follow His path. I have a question – The 2nd commandment says we’re not to have any images or idols to represent God. Since God and Jesus are intertwined, does this mean I can’t have images or idols of Jesus as well? Thank you! Elizabeth A…” (She just completed study #1.) Praise God – “You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in the heavens above,” (Exodus 20:3-4a)! Pray Elizabeth follows God’s pathway of truth revealed in the Bible through the Holy Spirit.
Thursday, 9th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On April 27, at 7:34 PM, new student hopeful Clifton B… emailed: “I hope to bring our family closer by studying together.” (First study mailed on 5-1-24.) Praise God – “Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath; instead, bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” (Eph. 6:4)! Pray Clifton does the study and teaches the gospel truth to his family.
Friday, 10th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS LESSON? Maria C… (age 65) shared: “On the basis of Christ’s blood which was shed for our sins, God declares righteous the ungodly sinner who trusts Christ as his Savior. God has made me perfectly righteous by giving me Christ in exchange. Christ Himself is my righteousness! Amen!” (She began to study on 9/29/22; she was born again on 10/4/22.) Praise God – “And this righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no distinction” (Rom 3:22)! Pray Maria shares the gospel with family & friends, inviting them to study.
Saturday, 11th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On April 30, at 8:49 PM, new student hopeful Mike R… emailed: “I hope to learn how to stop cheating on my wife and how to be a better father and son, and how the devil gets me to do evil. I need to learn more about the word of God.” (First study mailed on 5-2-24 with several helpful Bible-based readings.) Praise God – “Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation without regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.” (2 Cor. 7:10)! Pray Mike experiences God-driven sorrow, as he cries out to Him for help.
