“How precious is Your loving devotion, O God, that the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings!” Psalm 36:7
Sunday, 17th: From prison to a recovery house to fulltime employment – this is what Kyle S… is experiencing, as he trusts and follows his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Kyle sent this email on March 12th: “I start working on March 14th at the chicken processing plant of W…’s Farms. PRAISE THE LORD!! He has really blessed me through these Bible studies. They have played a huge part in my recovery. I can’t thank you enough because these lessons give me time to focus on my Lord and Savior. I deeply appreciate it.” (He is 28.) Praise God – “Keep my commandments and live; guard my teachings as the apple of your eye.” (Proverbs 7:2)! Pray Kyle works diligently, as unto the Lord, keeps on studying and finds a believing co-worker.
Monday, 18th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On March 8, at 12:49 PM, new student hopeful Jamilah B… e-mailed: “I want to be closer to God and learn His word and wisdom. I would love for my kids to get involved in some Bible study courses as well. Cody-15, Marcus-9, Mearra-7, Grayson-5 and Noah-4.” (First study booklets mailed to the six of them on 3-12-24.) Praise God – “How much better to acquire wisdom than gold! To gain understanding is more desirable than silver.” (Proverbs 16:16)! Pray Jamilah gains godly wisdom as she studies and as she helps her 5 kids to study.
Tuesday, 19th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS LESSON? Alfonsia S… wrote: “God loves us unconditionally and He sees us in Christ. If you have done wrong to someone, speak to God about it and then go to that person and make it right. This is something I live by now!!” Praise God – “He was delivered over to death for our trespasses and was raised to life for our justification.” (Romans 4:25)! Pray Alfonsina shares God’s message of hope with neighbors, family and friends.
Wednesday, 20th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Inmate Lisa L… (age 23) wrote: “I learned what I must do to be saved and that God still loves us no matter what we’ve done. Yes, two weeks ago, on 2-29-24.” (This first study was mailed on 2/5/24, so she likely had it for 2 weeks and a few days before trusting in Christ. PTL!!!) Praise God – “The time is fulfilled,” He said, “and the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe in the gospel!” (Mark 1:15)! Pray Lisa keeps studying, rereads lessons she’s done, memorizes verses and shares Christ.
Thursday, 21st: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On March 12, at 5:47 PM, new student hopeful Carmen G… e-mailed: “I would like to learn how to be more like Jesus and less like myself.” (Lessons mailed on 3/14/24; she also requested studies for Sophia-12 & Norah-6.) Praise God – “Then Jesus told His disciples, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.” (Matthew 16:24)! Pray Carmen studies diligently & assists Sophia & Norah.
Friday, 22nd: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS LESSON? Maria C… wrote: “God’s goodness and faithfulness in my life, this is the most important to me. God is my everything. He’s in every area of my life, according to His purpose. He provides all things sufficiently, every time, in His timing.” (In 1 ½ years, she completed 6 courses with 110 lessons; she is now studying the 7th course with 16 lessons.) Praise God – “You are my hiding place. You protect me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah” (Psalm 32:7)! Pray Maria shares her faith boldly and helps others to sign up for studies too.
Saturday, 23rd: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS LESSON? Inmate Nicole H… wrote: “I learned what happens when a Christian dies. We don’t have to fear death because it’s simply falling asleep in Christ. God not only saves us but He keeps us!!” Praise God – “But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.” (1 Corinthians 15:20)! Pray Nicole shares this gospel truth with compassion and clarity among her contacts.
