“But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved! For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.” (Ephesians 2:4-5, 8-10)

Sunday, 28^th: Posted July 18, 2024: “Dear Pastor Darryl Evans, this is Michael M… I am currently taking your Bible studies by mail courses. The reason I am writing is because I haven’t heard from you in a while. I am worried my lessons 7 – 10 in books 4 and 5 failed to have gotten to you. I hope this is not the case. I have no control over my mail getting to the mailbox. If it is possible, I’d still like to take your courses. Thank you.” (We resent study booklets 4 and 5 on 7/23/24.) Praise God – “A horse is prepared for the day of battle, but victory is of the LORD.” (Proverbs 21:31)! Pray Michael and hundreds upon hundreds of others enrolled in our study program trust God to see His victory.

Monday, 29^th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On July 19, at 7:10 AM, new student hopeful Crystal E… emailed: “I am looking to study the Bible with my 14-year-old son, Dominic E… I am hoping to draw us both closer to God.” (First studies mailed on 7/25/24.) Praise God – “Open my eyes that I may see wondrous things from Your law.” (Psalm 119:18)! Pray Crystal & Dominic individually study their booklets; pray they share together & pray about God’s word & life.

Tuesday, 30^th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? JoAnna L… (age 26) wrote: “What repentance truly means. I thought it was just another way of apologizing. Yes, when I was a teenager, but I went the wrong direction quickly after. I would like to do it all over again the correct way, even including getting baptized.” Praise God – “Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation without regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.” (2 Cor. 7:10)! Pray JoAnna keeps studying, finds a good local church & a godly mentor.

Wednesday, 31^st: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On July 19, at 11:55 PM, new student hopeful Octavia L… emailed: “I am trying to get a better understanding of the Bible, and I keep getting overwhelmed. I don’t know where to start.” (First study mailed on 7/25/24.) Praise God – “Your testimonies are indeed my delight; they are my counselors.” (Psalm 119:24)! Pray Octavia prayerfully prioritizes personal time for Bible study, completing her lessons and sharing about Christ.

Thursday, 1^st: Received July 22, 2024: “Hello, my name is Holly W… I am serving 2 years. I was wondering if I could please receive your Bible study books and whatever you offer. Looking forward to hearing from you.” Praise God – “See if there is any offensive way in me; lead me in the way everlasting.” (Psalm 139:24)! Pray Holly hears God’s voice as she studies; pray she accepts what He reveals, repents and trusts in God alone.

Friday, 2^nd: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On July 21, at 11:01 AM, new student hopeful Daniel B… emailed: “I hope to get me and my family closer to God.” (Their first studies were mailed to him and his wife Casey and their son Devin on 7/25/24.) Praise God – “Show me Your ways, O LORD; teach me Your paths.” (Psalm 25:4)! Pray Daniel, Casey and Devin complete their booklets individually, talk together about Christ and pray about life matters.

Saturday, 3^rd: Posted July 19, 2024: “To whom it may concern, I would very much love to learn more about God and Jesus. Could I be enrolled in your Bible correspondence program you offer? Patrick B… #_______” Praise God – “Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; all day long I wait for You.” (Psalm 25:5)! Pray Patrick gets his study, does it, returns the worksheet to us and shares Christ.
