“For I have come to turn ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. A man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’ Anyone who loves his father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; anyone who loves his son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me; and anyone who does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. Sunday, 14th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On July 6, at 10:03 PM, new student hopeful Meagan H… emailed: “My purpose for this life, how to hear God talking to me and how to become a disciple. I am fascinated with Jesus’s time on this Earth and want to understand what I am reading when I study my Bible.” (She also requested studies for 4 children, ages 15 to 3.) Praise God – “Whoever does not carry his own cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.” (Luke 14:27)! Pray Meagan surrenders herself to Christ’s lordship as she studies and as she coaches her children to study also.
Monday, 15th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On July 9, at 6:08 PM, new student hopeful Stephanie B… emailed: “My husband and I have been drawn to the Bible, so we opened it up and started reading it from the beginning. We are doing this blind and would like some structure with Bible studies at home. We just moved and haven’t found a church yet.” Praise God – “Surely the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear Him, on those whose hope is in His loving devotion” (Psalm 33:18)! Pray Stephanie and Roger study their booklets and find a Bible teaching church to attend.
Tuesday, 16th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On July 10, at 12:41 AM, new student hopeful Robin M… emailed: “I hope to get closer to Jesus, overcome my life problems, strengthen my faith and learn how to study the Bible correctly.” Praise God – “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.” (James 4:8)! Pray Robin studies her lessons and surrenders all to God.
Wednesday, 17th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On July 10, at 10:13 PM, new student hopeful Trease E… emailed: “How to pray and learn more about God.” Praise God – “Call to Me, and I will answer and show you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3)! Pray Trease studies her lessons, hears God’s voice and speaks to Him about what she is learning.
Thursday, 18th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD?
