“Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” The Jews answered Him, “Are we not right to say that You are a Samaritan and You have a demon?” “I do not have a demon,” Jesus replied, “but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me.” John 8:47-49
Sunday, 4th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On July 23, at 5:51 AM, new student hopeful Jon J… emailed: “I have many questions about things like the Trinity as I was taught God the Father created His only begotten Son and His Holy Spirit is an active force, but reading on my own makes that not seem correct. I was raised as a Jehovah’s Witness. I left decades ago. I read every translation (NASB, ESV, KJV, NKJV and many more). I cannot find a church. I need help. I am very sick; I don’t want to die in ignorance.” (First Bible study and more sent to him by mail and email on 7-29-2024.) Praise God – “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)! Pray Jon studies his lessons diligently; pray he earnestly seeks and finds a Bible-teaching church.

Thank you, Christ, for giving me life!” (He is a diligent student who began studying, on 3/18/2021, as a 1-year-old in Christ.) Praise God – “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10)! Pray Chris shares his Bible lessons and challenges other inmates to study.

Pray Teresa studies and shares boldly with her friends.
Wednesday, 7th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? Angela G… (age 46) shared: “I must obey God’s word even when I don’t feel like it. God wants all of us, not in parts. We are His 100% for Him to do His will. We have to give 100% of ourselves to God and not waste it.” Praise God – “Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.” (Matthew 10:39)! Pray Angela surrenders 100% of herself to God; pray she obeys His voice in all situations.

Christ’s death absorbed the wrath of God against our sins.” Praise God – “But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)! Pray Guy shares God’s love with others in his pod; pray he starts a study time to teach them.
