April 13 – 19
“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, outcry and slander, along with every form of malice.” Ephesians 4:31
Sunday, 13th: Pamela B… completed 3 lessons that taught on anger, resentment and bitterness. Her heart was touched, and she shared: “I have carried resentment for my mom for years. When she told me I was dead to her, I turned to drugs to stop the pain – an escape that became an addiction. My life changed in an instant. I’m really trying to let go, yet daily reminders keep haunting me. Thank You, Jesus, for not giving up on me, and that I heard Your call! Oh, I have forgiven my mom, but she was gone before I got a chance to reconcile with her. Maybe that’s what makes it so hard. I do know I MUST surrender my past to God. It’s so hard! And I know God can bring good out of a bad situation, if we trust Him. The good in my situation is I found Jesus – Amen!” Praise God – “Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:32)! Pray Pamela trusts and obeys God’s word, seeking reconciliation with her son.
