Sunday, 30th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Debra T… (age 69) wrote: “Jesus is the visible form of God. He came into the world to save us through faith, believing He is the way, the truth and the life. Jesus is the only door to Heaven through repentance of sin and faith in Him. After reading what you sent, I felt Jesus leading me to pray and renew my personal relationship with Him as my Savior.  I know I was saved in July 2005, but I was so lonely and wayward. Now I feel so much better.” (Her 1st study sent on 2/22/17; Resent 6/12/24.) Praise God – “Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings” (Psalm 17:8)! Pray Debra studies all the lessons we send; pray she finds a Bible-teaching church and fellowships with others.

Monday, 1st: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On June 21, at 9:18 PM, grandmother of 7-year-old Laekyn P… emailed: “I want my granddaughter to grow up with God. Everyone is a child of God!” (First study booklets were mailed to both of them a few days ago.) Praise God – “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” (Luke 19:10)! Pray Grandma studies her booklet and assists Laekyn to study; pray their eyes are opened and they both accept God’s truth.

Tuesday, 2nd: Miguel H… recently shared: “Que Dios los bendiga. [May God bless you.]I first thank our God and you for giving me the opportunity to share what I have learned. God is the owner of all, so don’t worry about tomorrow. About the offering, it catches my attention. Firstly, it is to give yourself to God as an obedient offering in every sense. To achieve an abundant Christian life, we have to believe with all our hearts that our God is sovereign.” (Miguel is one of twenty inmates that inmate Santiago M. has signed up to receive studies.) Praise God – “How precious is Your loving devotion, O God, that the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings!” (Psalm 36:7)! Pray Miquel keeps studying & sharing in jail & wherever God sends him.

Wednesday, 3rd: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On June 24, at 10:16 PM, new student hopeful Krystle Q… emailed: “I want to learn more about God’s promises and salvation. Also, to try to understand why God allows certain things to happen.” (1st study mailed on 6/26/24.) Praise God – “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10)! Pray Krystle studies her lessons and hears and obeys the Spirit’s voice.

Thursday, 4th: On June 14, 2024, an inmate shared: “By God’s grace, I purpose to let Christ be everything to me, to love Him with all my heart and to serve Him to the best of my ability. I purpose to spend time with Him each day, in prayer and reading His word. I thank God there are good people like you who still care enough to spread the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you, Bible Studies by Mail! Clinton W…” Praise God – “Therefore encourage and build one another up, just as you are already doing.” (1 Thessalonians 5:11)! Pray Clinton shares his studies with cellmates & encourages them to request studies too.

Friday, 5th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On June 25, at 5:16 AM, new student hopeful Katherine G… emailed for herself and her spouse Ray: “We’d like to learn more and be able to engage in conversations with those who are lost and share the word.” (Mailed on 6/26/24.) Praise God – “For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.” (Philippians 2:13)! Pray Katherine & Ray complete their 1st two lessons, memorize key verses, pray and share.

Saturday, 6th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Yes, 2 years ago in the county jail.” Praise God – “But you, O man of God, flee from these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance, and gentleness.” (1 Timothy 6:11)! Pray Cody studies diligently & obeys God’s word.

Sunday, 23rd: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On June 13, at 3:27 PM, new student hopeful Jeremy B… emailed: “I hope to find peace, learn how to manage time for the things that are truly important and learn to love again.” (1st study sent on 6/19/2024) Praise God – “Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.” (1 John 4:7)! Pray Jeremy studies all his lessons; pray he eagerly obeys Christ’s teaching.

How to cope with losing a loved one. How not to be afraid to die. How to deal with negative minded people. How to cope with an addiction.” (1st study sent on 6/19/2024) Praise God – “Let us examine and test our ways, and turn back to the LORD.” (Lamentations 3:40)! Pray Herbertyne finds a Bible-teaching church, befriends a mentor, does her lessons, trusts and obeys Jesus.

On June 16, at 1:16 PM, new student hopeful Tony R… emailed: “I was told about a year ago that I had 6 months to live at best. But I am on God’s plan and He is the One to decide that. I visit and care for my 82-year-old mother every day. We both spend time together reading the Bible. She loves to study the Bible and I try to help her get literature.” (1st study sent on 6/19/2024) Praise God – “Listen to your father who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old.” (Proverbs 23:22)! Pray Tony & his mother read & do all their lessons; pray they reflect Jesus’ love clearly.

Spanish speaking inmate Juan P… (age 31) wrote: “Dios loves all people and wants the best for us. His Son became a man to die for our sins and be our Salvador. I need to repent and receive Jesucristo as my Salvador if I want to go to heaven. Yes, I did before doing these test pages el 11 de Junio 2024.” (This study was sent on 6/4/2024.) Praise God – “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)! Pray Juan keeps studying, memorizes verses & shares the gospel with his cellmates & guards.

I am always at a loss about where to start reading. I want to learn about God through reading.” (1st study sent on 6/20/2024) Praise God – “The heart of the righteous ponders how to answer, but the mouth of the wicked blurts out evil.” (Proverbs 15:28)! Pray Shantelise does her studies with her Bible & shares the teaching with others.

Friday, 28th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On June 17, at 4:53 PM, new student hopeful Sulyn B… emailed: “I hope to get to know God’s word and that my life will reflect His word. I want to have God’s word in my heart.” (1st study sent on 6/20/2024) Praise God – “How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to Your word.” (Psa. 119:9)! Pray Sulyn uses her Bible to do the studies, marks and memorizes verses and shares her faith boldly.

On June 18, at 5:46 AM, new student hopeful Andrea S… emailed: “I hope to get answers for the questions people ask me. At the moment, I really don’t know what to say. I want to learn more and more about the good God we serve.” (1st study sent on 6/20/2024) Praise God – “Honor Christ and let him be the Lord of your life. Always be ready to give an answer when someone asks you about your hope.” (1 Peter 3:15)! Pray Andrea lets God’s word renew her mind.

Praise God – “Therefore, just as you have received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to walk in Him,” (Colossians 2:6)! Pray Larry studies diligently and shares Christ’s teaching intentionally among his cellmates.

Monday, 17th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On June 5, at 1:02 PM, new student hopeful Stephanie M… emailed: “I am in an addiction recovery center. I am getting a closer relationship with God. There are 150 women here if you would be willing to donate to our center.” (1st study mailed on 6/10/24 with many new student sign-up slips for Stephanie to pass around to other ladies.) Praise God – “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to the family of faith.” (Galatians 6:10)! Pray Stephanie studies her 1st booklet with her Bible; pray she shares Christ.

Inmate Jonathan H… (age 31) wrote: “Jesus Christ is the way to salvation. God overlooks/forgets/forgives our sins as long as we repent and give our lives to Him through faith in Christ. Yes, in 2023 here in jail.” (Inmate Joseph W… sent us a note requesting Bible studies in the envelope with Jonathan’s first completed Test Pages – PTL!) Praise God – “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” (Psalm 103:12)! Pray Jonathan & Joseph complete their studies, share God’s word with others & pray together.

Praise God – “He was delivered over to death for our trespasses and was raised to life for our justification.” (Romans 4:25)! I enjoyed this lesson so much. It made me emotional just to know of him. Jesus Christ is the only one to save us. Thank you!” Praise God – “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” (Acts 2:42)! Pray Donna keeps studying & finds a Bible-teaching church for fellowship.

Friday, 21st: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On June 7, at 3:39 AM, new student hopeful Genevieve H… emailed: “I hope to understand His word with more clarity and also learn how to pray, and become stronger in my faith. I was raised in a church but lost my way because I was sexually abused by family. I thought it was God’s fault until I met my husband who preaches the Lord’s word. He explained to me about man’s free will and the flesh. Since then, I’ve become saved and dedicated my life to my Lord and Savior.” (1st study mailed on 6/10/24 with additional helpful Bible-based reading for her.) Praise God – “God made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)! He is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Jesus is our only way to God. He died for our sins. Yes, I believed and received Jesus Christ as my Savior, but I don’t remember the date. I just remember I was in a dark place and God showed me in Romans 7:14 why I was unable to have a life worth living.” Praise God – “We know that the law is spiritual; but I am unspiritual, sold as a slave to sin.” (Romans 7:14)! I would like to ask you a big favor. Please pray for my daughters, Adriana and Lesli, and my son, Zaqueo. I hope to have your response pronto. Gracias.” Praise God – “He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we would be a kind of firstfruits of His creation.” (Jas. 1:18)! Pray Juan studies a lot on his own & with others; pray he surrenders all to Cristo.

Monday, 10th:  WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On May 28, at 3:32 PM, new student hopeful Kellie H… emailed: “How to let go of hate and forgive. And how to just be a better person and love myself.” (1st Bible study mailed on 5/30/24 with additional Bible-based reading.) Praise God – “Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against any of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.” (Leviticus 19:18)! Pray Kellie takes God’s word to heart and follows Christ closely.

Pray Raymundo shares his faith & Bible truths with other inmates.

I hope to learn more about God, His Son and the Holy Spirit.” Praise God – “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.” (2 Pe. 3:18)! Pray Roger studies & shares the gospel truth.

Thursday, 13th: A new student, since March 2024, asked a question: “Would you write a letter of support to my Parole Board explaining how I’ve nearly completed this first Bible course? I took someone’s life… I was wrong for doing this and I am sorry. I thank you in advance for your cooperation. Sincerely, Willie H…” (Not sent.) Praise God – “Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; all day long I wait for You.” (Psalm 25:5)! Pray Willie focuses on being a child of God and doing His will wherever He leads.

Friday, 14th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On June 2, at 9:39 AM, new student hopeful Johnny R… emailed: “I’m hoping to get a better understanding of the word of God, because some day, I would like to attend seminary and become a pastor.” Praise God – “Make every effort to present yourself approved to God, an unashamed workman who accurately handles the word of truth.” (2 Tim 2:15)! Pray Johnny studies diligently & has a godly, older mentor.

Thank you.” Praise God – “I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You.” (Psalm 119:11)! Pray Amanda does her study, shares the gospel with cellmates & encourages & helps others sign up to study.

Sunday, 2nd: On May 24th, Portia A… emailed BSBM requesting Bible studies for her incarcerated son Larry A… She shared: “He is 40 years old and in jail for the hundredth time. I think he is an addict and needs some Bible studies to help him when reading the Bible. I am a praying mother and I know God has a plan for him. The only time he ever gets close to God is in jail or prison, but he never becomes strong enough to stay close to God when he gets out. Thank you!” (1st study sent 5/29/24.) Praise God – “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.” (Matt. 7:24)! Pray Larry studies diligently & intentionally obeys w/o doubt.

Monday, 3rd: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Inmate Bruce B… (age 52) wrote: “If we admit we are sinners to God and ask for forgiveness, He will do so. Yes, when I was a child. I have recently rededicated my life to Him and I’m striving to be like Jesus. This isn’t easy though!! Especially in this negative atmosphere I’m in right now. Please pray for me and my wife and our five children. Thank you!” (He found & did an inmate’s discarded 1st study that we’d mailed on 9/1/2021 – PLT!) Praise God – “For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.” (Romans 8:13)! Pray Bruce studies diligently and gives us his wife’s address.

Tuesday, 4th: “May 16, 2024. I would like to thank you for these Bible courses. Over the three years of doing these studies, I have learned to know who God is. They have taught me to love, help, give, listen, pray, worship, be a better friend, mother, teacher, etc. I appreciate your ministry! So, I thank you! Lashawn N…” Praise God – “He is like a tree planted by streams of water, yielding its fruit in season, whose leaf does not wither, and who prospers in all he does.” (Psa. 1:3)! Pray Lashawn starts a home Bible study with friends.

Wednesday, 5th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Margie F… (age 51) wrote: “Jesus is the one and only way to get to Heaven. Yes. March 24, 2024.” (She found our website & requested studies on 4/25/2024.) Praise God – “I am the gate. If anyone enters through Me, he will be saved. He will come in and go out and find pasture.” (John 10:9)! Pray Margie keeps studying, finds a Bible-teaching church and shares her faith.

Thursday, 6th: “5/22/24 I received your address from a fellow inmate doing your correspondence courses. I am interested in learning more about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Your brother in Christ, David H… #___” Praise God – “This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples.” (John 15:8)! Pray David gets his 1st study that we mailed on 5/29/24 w/o any mail handling hinderance from the jail.

Friday, 7th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Donald W… (age 43) wrote: “Jesus is God. He gave His life for our sins. And an understanding that we are all sinners and the only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ. Yes, in February 2024.” (On 5/22/2024, he asked for studies using our website; he was a 3-month-old in Christ – PTL!) Praise God – “Surely there is no righteous man on earth who does good and never sins.” (Ecclesiastes 7:20)! Pray Donald studies diligently, memorizes key verses, shares his faith and finds a Bible teaching church.

Saturday, 8th: “I would like to sign up for your Bible study please. Gina U… #___ F.C.I. Alabama Thank you!” (1st study mailed on 5/29/24.) Praise God – “But if from there you will seek the LORD your God, you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” (Deut. 4:29)! Pray Gina studies, repents of sin and believes in the gospel.

Sunday, 26th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? David C… (age 39) wrote: “It is so helpful to be reminded of God’s deep love for us all. Being a Christian doesn’t mean a worry-free life. Yes, I received Jesus as my Savior on December 21, 2021, after nearly dying of Covid.” (1st study sent 9/29/20; received this 4/21/24.) Praise God – “For at just the right time, while we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.” (Romans 5:6)! Pray David keeps studying; pray David’s six friends that he requested studies for do them also.

She has relationship problems with her mom that have caused depression and even suicidal thoughts. I talk and pray with her. She says she reads but has been unable to feel God lately. Can you please put her on your prayer list and send her Bible studies? Zaire M… at …NC.” (1st study and more sent 5/21/24.) Praise God – “While it is daytime, we must do the works of Him who sent Me. Night is coming, when no one can work.” (Jn. 9:4)! Pray Tiffany & Zaire talk a lot about Bible verses with each other & pray together.

Praise God – “The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.” (Romans 13:12)! Pray Coretta and her two children study, share and pray together.

Jessica B… (age 36) emailed: “I learned that Jesus appeared on earth for 40 days after His resurrection and was seen by over 500 people. Yes, on January 8, 2023 and baptized on August 20, 2023!!” (1st study sent on 4/18/2024 when Jessica was a 15-month-old in Christ.) Praise God – “Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; all day long I wait for You.” (Psalm 25:5)! Praise God – “Teach me Your way, O LORD, that I may walk in Your truth. Give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your name.” (Psalm 86:11)! Pray Tasha studies her lessons with her Bible & obeys God’s voice.
