Pray Brian studies the Bible study booklets with his Bible; pray he memorizes verses & shares Christ.

Tuesday, 19th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On November 11, at 11:05 AM, new student hopeful Chelsea S… emailed: “I hope to come closer to God to learn about His purpose for me, and how to better myself, and make a positive difference in this world.” (1st study mailed 11/13/24) Praise God – “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Mt. 5:16)! Pray Chelsea submits to Christ’s call and lives 100% for His glory.

Wednesday, 20th: Gerardo V… (age 57) just completed the first course with 15 lessons. He began to study on July 31, 2024, after fellow inmate Santiago M… signed him up for our Spanish study program. Gerardo shared: “Here are the most important things I learned in these lessons. The discipline of Dios is good. And to have Jesús in me, is to have everything I’ll ever need.” (Santiago has signed up 24 inmates to study the Bible.) Praise God – “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.” (Mt. 6:33)! Pray Gerardo, Santiago & their cellmates are thankful for God’s loving discipline.

Thursday, 21st: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On November 11, at 1:55 PM, new student hopeful Ben B… emailed: “I hope to learn if the J.W. religion is false or not.” (1st study mailed 11/13/24) Praise God – “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1)! Pray Ben studies his Bible lessons & extra reading without using the J.W.’s NWT false Bible.

Friday, 22nd: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On November 13, at 12:26 PM, new student hopeful Gloria B… emailed: “It’s my hope to learn how to lean on His word when my faith gets weak.” (1st study mailed 11/14/24) Praise God – “Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will do it.” (Psalm 37:5)! Pray Gloria entrusts herself into God’s Hands daily; pray she studies her lessons and meditates on the Bible verses.

Saturday, 23rd: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Erlinda G… (age 73) wrote: “About God’s love in John 3:16. And how Jesus came to be our Savior, and to set us free from the power of sin and death. Yes, when I was still in High School.” Praise God – “For in Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set you free from the law of sin and death.” (Romans 8:2)! Pray Erlinda testifies of Christ to friends and neighbors, and signs them up to study too.

Sunday, 10th: Blessed Announcement: BSBM’s office will be moving to a new location, on November 29th! Praise God – “Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will surely help you; I will uphold you with My right hand of righteousness.” (Isaiah 41:10)! Pray BSBM’s leaders and staff work together to accomplish this blessed move to a new office location that’s yet to be announced.

Monday, 11th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On November 4, at 6:07 PM, new student hopeful Crystal M… emailed: “I want to learn how to have a more intimate relationship with God, and how to love others and myself.” (First study mailed 11/7/24.) Praise God – “And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.” (Deut. 6:5)! Pray Crystal obeys God’s word; pray she loves God, herself and others.

Tuesday, 12th: “Dear Bible Studies By Mail, I recently completed a Bible course and with my certificate was a list of other ministries that offer studies. Will you please enroll me? I have been incarcerated for almost four years. I have a deep love for the word of God and sharing His word with others. No staples or hardcover books are allowed. Amanda M… #… Texas” Praise God – “For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that One died for all, therefore all died.” (2 Cor. 5:14)! Pray Amanda receives her first study booklet; pray she encourages others to study too.

Wednesday, 13th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Inmate Sherida D… wrote: “That Jesus is the one true Savior and that God loves me regardless of my sin. Yes. Today, October 28, 2024.” (Her husband requested studies for her, and they were mailed on October 16, 2024.) Praise God – “In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.” (Luke 15:10)! Pray Sherida shares her faith, makes a good friendship or two & keeps studying.

Thursday, 14th: “Dear Bible study teacher, I want to thank you for all the lessons you have sent me. I’ve enjoyed learning so much over these months. Thanks for all you’ve done to help me grow in knowledge of my heavenly Father. Please keep me in your prayers. Sincerely, Mark D…” (He began to study in July 2024; the next four studies, in his second course, were mailed on November 6th – Indeed, he’s an inmate who enjoys studying!) Praise God – “My lips will glorify you because your faithful love is better than life.” (Psalm 63:3)! Pray Mark shares what he is learning with cellmates and sends us the names of those interested in studying.

On November 6, at 5:45 AM, new student hopeful Cody H… emailed requesting studies for himself and for his daughter, Pamela H…: “I hope to learn to give my worries and my whole life over to God, and to guide my daughter and her family to the Lord.” (First studies mailed 11/7/24.) Praise God – “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Phil. 4:6)! Today, 10-19-24, I just asked Jesus to give me a new life.” (1st study mailed on 10/9/24) Praise God – “And God put everything under His feet and made Him head over everything for the church,” (Ephesians 1:22)! Pray Bo takes God’s word to heart and repents of all the Spirit convicts him of.

I am just waiting on my husband to pick up stamps so we can mail them. How do I request prayer? I’ve been suffering with anger issues and anxiety. I have 3 kids and I hate it when they see me angry. My parents would drink a lot when I was a child, and I had to witness a lot of domestic violence. I feel that is the reason for a lot of my issues today.” (She homeschools their 3 kids – ages 10, 7 and 5.) Praise God – “Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.” (Col. 4:6)! Pray Marisela starts each day ‘sitting at Jesus’s feet’ and feeding on His word.

Thanks to God, my Father, He is changing my life. I desire to study the Bible more as He is my God and Savior. Please help me with your prayers.” (He shared this 10/23/24; he received Jesus as his Savior while doing the 1st study 9/17/24.) Praise God – “The Law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul; the testimony of the LORD is trustworthy, making wise the simple.” (Psalm 19:7)! Pray Hugo grows spiritually strong & shares Cristo daily.

I realized that I was missing God in my life here in jail. He is now my God and my Father.” (Hugo & Omar are cellmates; they are 2 of 17 inmates signed up by inmate Alfred H…) Praise God – “I have seen all the things that are done under the sun, and have found them all to be futile, a pursuit of the wind.” (Ecclesiastes 1:14)! Pray Omar shares Cristo boldly with new cellmates and whoever.

Praise God – “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Rom. 6:23)! Pray Tracy studies the 1st booklet, rereads heart touching verses and surrenders totally to Christ.

On October 10, at 10:20 PM, new student hopeful Chris K… emailed: “I would really just love to bring my family closer to the Word of God. I have five beautiful children, so if there’s anything that you have for them as well, it would be much appreciated.” (1st study for Chris was mailed on 10/16/24; we wait to hear the five children’s ages.) Praise God – “Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath; instead, bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” (Eph. 6:4)! Pray Chris gives the children’s ages & shares God’s word by example.

Monday, 14th: While living in Florida, Kevin and Judith R… found BSBM’s website and requested Bible studies by mail. They recently sent us this note in with their completed study worksheets: “We moved back to Pennsylvania to live with our grandkids who are older, and one great grandchild, Colton. Our granddaughter Marissa just turned 15. We found out lots of stuff she has been doing – very sinful things. Marissa has known about the Lord for years, and received Christ in 2021. But a long story short, her mother is my daughter, and Marissa has not been told NO in her life. Her parents gave her all she ever wanted, and they even know the Lord too. Please pray Marissa and her parents wake up. The mess is big, but God is bigger!!” Praise God – “Yet even now,” declares the LORD, “return to Me with all your heart, with fasting, weeping, and mourning.” (Joel 2:12)! Pray Marissa & her parents hear the Lord’s call, & come out of darkness.

Tuesday, 15th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Levannie G… (age 64) wrote: “There is only one way to Heaven and that is by Jesus Christ. I received Jesus as my Savior Sept. 15, 1995. No one or anything should come before God in my life – No idols!! I rededicated my life to Him on Sept. 12, 2024.” Praise God – “For you must not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.” (Exodus 34:14)! Pray Levannie encourages friends to study with her, and signs them up too.

Wednesday, 16th: Inmate Tyler M…’s dad requested Bible studies for himself and for Tyler too. His dad recently sent this letter with his completed study worksheets: “On a phone call the other day, Tyler told me he did receive your Bible study. I asked him to go through the study and mail back the test pages. I sent Tyler a booklet of stamps so he can return them and not worry about where to get stamps.” (Tyler’s had it since June.) Praise God – “Listen, my sons, to a father’s instruction; pay attention and gain understanding.” (Proverbs 4:1)! Pray Tyler studies the two Bible lessons in his booklet, repents and believes in the gospel.

On October 4, at 1:25 PM, new student hopeful Steven W… emailed: “I hope to get a better understanding of who God is, and what my role is, as a parent, and as a church member. I struggle with my faith and devotion.” (First study mailed on 10/9/2024.) Praise God – “I will sing of the loving devotion of the LORD forever; with my mouth I will proclaim Your faithfulness to all generations.” (Psalm 89:1)! Pray Steven repents & returns to his first love, Jesus Christ.

Friday, 18th: WHAT IS MOST MEANINGFUL TO YOU FROM THIS STUDY? Vicky R… recently wrote: “Understanding the armor of God in this lesson is most meaningful to me. I need to let the Holy Spirit remind me of any and all unconfessed sin, to talk to God about it and ask Him for forgiveness. I still have a tendency to hold bitterness toward family members, and sometimes hatred. I need to let God handle this in my life. Every day I pray and ask God to extinguish those thoughts that flame up my anger. I want to have peace in my life and the way to do that is to surrender completely to God’s will and put on His armor of protection.” Praise God – “Bear with one another and forgive any complaint you may have against someone else. Praise God – “Fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath; instead, bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” (Ephesians 6:4)! Pray Luis, Nevaeh & Aleethea study the Bible and keep in touch.

Wednesday, 18th: Inmate Aishia P… (age 29) recently requested prayer: “I am having serious medical issues that’s causing numerous hospitalizations, blood transfusions, etc. I’m very stressed out, depressed, and honestly angry. God, His word and my dad are the only ones who keep me strong with my head up. I am supposed to have surgery, but who knows when??? My release date is October 10th, and I just want to go home to my dad. Please pray for me.” (Extra biblical material was sent to help her deal with anger and depression.) Praise God – “And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in You.” (Psalm 39:7)! Pray Aishia keeps her focus on Christ day by day; pray she shares the gospel among fellow inmates and helps them sign up.

This has definitely helped me understand that for us as new Christians there is a way of defeating the wicked. This morning, I woke my oldest for school and went back to my room to pull out Ephesians 6:11-18 to start praying. I am blessed to have my Bible studies show me things that I may not understand or know yet from the Bible. Thank you for all you do!” (She did study #1 in January 2023. She wrote that she had received Christ as her Savior while doing the study.) Praise God – “Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.” (Ephesians 6:10)! Pray Keishla keeps studying her Bible and our Bible courses; pray she starts a home Bible study with her acquaintances.

Saturday, 21st: Elliot P… (age 15) found BSBM’s website and requested Bible studies on 8/7/2024. He recently completed Lesson 6, and he wrote this: “I wonder if you guys could give me some guidance. I want to find a local church to attend. How do I find a good one? I am not sure of the denomination and what they believe. My parents won’t take me.” (He got a church’s phone number and address, 4 miles from his house.) Praise God – “My soul longs, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.” (Psalm 84:2)! Pray Elliot makes contact with the church and gets a ride to attend services.
