“My son, keep my words and treasure my commandments within you.” Proverbs 7:1
Sunday, 30th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Debra T… (age 69) wrote: “Jesus is the visible form of God. He came into the world to save us through faith, believing He is the way, the truth and the life. Jesus is the only door to Heaven through repentance of sin and faith in Him. After reading what you sent, I felt Jesus leading me to pray and renew my personal relationship with Him as my Savior. I know I was saved in July 2005, but I was so lonely and wayward. Now I feel so much better.” (Her 1st study sent on 2/22/17; Resent 6/12/24.) Praise God – “Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings” (Psalm 17:8)! Pray Debra studies all the lessons we send; pray she finds a Bible-teaching church and fellowships with others.
Monday, 1st: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On June 21, at 9:18 PM, grandmother of 7-year-old Laekyn P… emailed: “I want my granddaughter to grow up with God. Everyone is a child of God!” (First study booklets were mailed to both of them a few days ago.) Praise God – “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” (Luke 19:10)! Pray Grandma studies her booklet and assists Laekyn to study; pray their eyes are opened and they both accept God’s truth.
Tuesday, 2nd: Miguel H… recently shared: “Que Dios los bendiga. [May God bless you.]I first thank our God and you for giving me the opportunity to share what I have learned. God is the owner of all, so don’t worry about tomorrow. About the offering, it catches my attention. Firstly, it is to give yourself to God as an obedient offering in every sense. To achieve an abundant Christian life, we have to believe with all our hearts that our God is sovereign.” (Miguel is one of twenty inmates that inmate Santiago M. has signed up to receive studies.) Praise God – “How precious is Your loving devotion, O God, that the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings!” (Psalm 36:7)! Pray Miquel keeps studying & sharing in jail & wherever God sends him.
Wednesday, 3rd: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On June 24, at 10:16 PM, new student hopeful Krystle Q… emailed: “I want to learn more about God’s promises and salvation. Also, to try to understand why God allows certain things to happen.” (1st study mailed on 6/26/24.) Praise God – “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10)! Pray Krystle studies her lessons and hears and obeys the Spirit’s voice.
Thursday, 4th: On June 14, 2024, an inmate shared: “By God’s grace, I purpose to let Christ be everything to me, to love Him with all my heart and to serve Him to the best of my ability. Praise God – “For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.” (Philippians 2:13)! Pray Katherine & Ray complete their 1st two lessons, memorize key verses, pray and share.
