Sunday, 26th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? David C… (age 39) wrote: “It is so helpful to be reminded of God’s deep love for us all. Being a Christian doesn’t mean a worry-free life. Yes, I received Jesus as my Savior on December 21, 2021, after nearly dying of Covid.” (1st study sent 9/29/20; received this 4/21/24.) Praise God – “For at just the right time, while we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly.” (Romans 5:6)! Pray David keeps studying; pray David’s six friends that he requested studies for do them also.
Monday, 27th: A pleading note from grandma Tiffany A…, on May 21, 2024: “I have a granddaughter who is 15 years old. She has relationship problems with her mom that have caused depression and even suicidal thoughts. I talk and pray with her. She says she reads but has been unable to feel God lately. Can you please put her on your prayer list and send her Bible studies? Zaire M… at …NC.” (1st study and more sent 5/21/24.) Praise God – “While it is daytime, we must do the works of Him who sent Me. Night is coming, when no one can work.” (Jn. 9:4)! Pray Tiffany & Zaire talk a lot about Bible verses with each other & pray together.
Tuesday, 28th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On May 16, at 3:26 PM, new student hopeful Coretta T… emailed: “I hope to learn how to live a godly life and help others as well.” (Coretta’s 1st study was mailed on 5/22/2024, as well as 1st studies for her 2 teenage children.) Praise God – “The night is far gone; the day is at hand. So then let us cast off the works of darkness and put on the armor of light.” (Romans 13:12)! Pray Coretta and her two children study, share and pray together.
Wednesday, 29th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Jessica B… (age 36) emailed: “I learned that Jesus appeared on earth for 40 days after His resurrection and was seen by over 500 people. Yes, on January 8, 2023 and baptized on August 20, 2023!!” (1st study sent on 4/18/2024 when Jessica was a 15-month-old in Christ.) Praise God – “Guide me in Your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation; all day long I wait for You.” (Psalm 25:5)! Pray Jessica shares the gospel with friends & family; pray she starts a home study.
Thursday, 30th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On May 22, at 9:21 PM, new student hopeful Tasha W… emailed: “I hope to have a closer relationship with my Lord and to minister His word correctly to my family and community.” (1st study mailed on 5/24/2024.) Praise God – “Teach me Your way, O LORD, that I may walk in Your truth. Give me an undivided heart, that I may fear Your name.” (Psalm 86:11)! Pray Tasha studies her lessons with her Bible & obeys God’s voice.
Friday, 31st: A letter from an inmate: “May 18, 2024 I want to thank you for all the support, prayer and the letter you sent to my parole board. I guess God allowed them to deny me again. I’m now doing my 37th year and still have 18 years to do. Guess I’ll die in prison and never see my mother again. Parole Board thought Bible studies weren’t enough rehabilitation. God knows my heart. With Jesus’ love, Christopher P…” Praise God – “And everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:26)! Pray Christopher gives us his mother’s name and address for Bible studies by mail.
Saturday, 1st: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Inmate Mark H… (age 46) wrote: “That when I come to the Lord as a sinner and admit it, that I become a child of God no matter my past. Yes, when I was young but I didn’t live as I should have. It’s been weighing heavy on my heart. Now I am serving time until February 2041. I again asked Christ into my life on May 14, 2024.” (1st study sent 5/8/24.) Praise God – “For great is Your loving devotion to me; You have delivered me from the depths of Sheol.” (Psalm 86:13)! Pray Mark shares the message of his lessons with others and encourages them to study.
