Sunday, 12th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS LESSON? On May 6th, Daisy C… emailed this response for Lesson 10 of Course #1: “I learned the countless times God has worked to save us from ourselves and the schemes of the devil. When put under a new light, the amount of love and forgiveness granted to us is moving. The second coming of Christ will be the end, where there won’t be any more chances for those that did not heed the warning of His return.” Praise God – “Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” (Matt. 24:44)! Pray Daisy shares Christ’s teaching boldly, in English & Spanish, with family & friends.
Monday, 13th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On May 1, at 5:26 PM, new student hopeful Mark D… emailed: “I would like to learn the word from the beginning please.” (1st study sent on May 8th.) Praise God – “The time is fulfilled,” He said, “and the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe in the gospel!” (Mark 1:15)! Pray Mark studies his booklets diligently with his Bible open and memorizes key verses.
Tuesday, 14th: “Dear Mr. Darryl Evans, my name is David C… I have been saved since November 1, 2023. With Mario C… I have completed the first lessons: 1) Who Is Jesus Christ? and 2) Heaven – How to Get There. Please continue sending me the other lessons that follow this. I desire to continue studying this series. Thank you for your help and guidance in making a choice for Christ in my life as my Savior.” (On 4/10/24 we sent Mario study #1; on 5/6/24 we had their joint study worksheets; they are cellmates.) Praise God – “Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father, but whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well.” (1 John 2:23)! Pray David keeps studying all the lessons we send; pray he shares his faith.
Wednesday, 15th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On May 5, at 7:52 AM, new student hopeful Todd V… emailed: “I want to learn real truths from the Bible in a way I can comprehend, at my own comfortable pace of understanding, so that I can be saved truly.” (1st study prepared for the mail on Sunday, May 5th at 1:04 PM.) Praise God – “Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.” (John 17:3)! Pray Todd reads, studies, believes and follows the Holy Spirit’s leading.
Thursday, 16th: “To Darryl Evans and wife Joan Evans, thank you so much for taking the time to write me. I enjoyed doing the Bible study with a friend of mine, David C… I found Jesus to be my Lord and Savior on November 1, 2023. I’m going to be incarcerated for a very long time, and I have no family support but God and Jesus Christ. I ask for spiritual guidance every day as I face a life in prison for the next three decades. I’m very scared of what will become of my life. If I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, I believe that I’ll make it through it. I want a triumphant return back to society. Respectfully, Mario C…” (Thank God for jails and prisons that permit paper Bibles and study materials for inmates!) Praise God – “I have told you these things so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take courage; I have overcome the world!” (Jn. 16:33)! Pray Mario follows Christ closely.
Friday, 17th: WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU HAVE LEARNED IN THIS STUDY? HAVE YOU RECEIVED CHRIST AS YOUR SAVIOR? IF SO, WHEN? Aimee J… wrote: “That there is only one true God and He never said this life would be easy. But He promised to be with us through it, if we believe and receive Him! Yes, in February 2024!” (She is a 24-year-old; she requested this 1st study as a 2-month-old in Christ.) Praise God – “But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12)! Pray Aimee finds a Bible-teaching church and gets involved in outreach.
Saturday, 18th: WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO LEARN FROM GOD THROUGH THE STUDY OF HIS WORD? On May 1, at 9:25 PM, new student hopeful Destinie L… emailed: “How to find my happiness in God and only Him.” (1st study sent on May 8th.) Praise God – “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” (John 10:10)! Pray Destinie finds her greatest joy to be abiding in Christ and obeying Him.
